If I said 2-4 feet, glassy, and 90 degree weather at Pleasure Point, would you believe me?A weird day in Santa Cruz: September 2004 and it's 90+ outside. The point has shoulder high set waves with 4 guys out, including Bob Pearson. We rented a BIC 9'0 and an 8'6. I was so self-conscious about riding a rental, especially out at Pleasures, it was killing me. But Pearson gave Pam props as she was hanging 5 through all the critical sections, and it made me feel better. The surf was pretty good, I'd say.
